1. In the Network editor window, click the Edit mode icon 
.
2. In the Network window, click the Backgrounds button.
3. Click in the network display.
The Background objects administration window opens.
4. Click the Scale button.
The Background objects administration window closes and the mouse pointer turns into a scale.
5. Click the starting point of the link to be measured, hold down the mouse button and drag the mouse pointer to the desired end point of the link to be measured.
The Scale window opens.

6. Confirm with OK.
